Why are the same tyres priced differently on the site?

Often, at first glance, tyres that appear identical differ in markings, approvals, or other characteristics. However, there might be instances where seemingly identical tyres are priced differently due to stock levels, delivery times, or different manufacturer codes. A lower price does not imply that the item has defects, is older, or anything of the sort. Feel free to choose the best deal!

Are the tyres covered by a warranty?

Alljaunasriepas.lv  products come with a two-year quality guarantee. Read more in the Warranty section.

Do we sell tyres individually?

Yes. You can purchase any quantity of tyres or rims. In rare cases when stock is low, there might be supply issues, but our managers will inform you and work to resolve them.

What is the delivery time for tyres?

Delivery times vary depending on the item. Items marked with Express delivery can be received faster.

Is there a charge for courier delivery?

If the order amount exceeds three hundred euros, delivery is free; if less, the delivery charge is 7.5 euros, regardless of the quantity. For more details about delivery conditions and exceptions, see the Delivery of Goods section.

What is the manufacture date of the tyres?

What does the XL marking signify?

XL stands for an extra load or reinforced tyre. Every tyre size has a standard load index. If a specific tyre’s load index is higher than the standard, it's marked as XL, and less frequently as RF, EXL, or RFD. Reinforced tyres can handle greater weight and air pressure, are more resistant to mechanical damage, but they tend to be noisier, heavier, and less comfortable.

What does the M+S marking mean?

M+S denotes tyres designed for Mud and Snow conditions. This marking is often mistakenly thought of as a sign of all-season tyres, as regulations allow their use in winter irrespective of seasonality. However, this legal loophole doesn't always align with manufacturers' recommendations. It is used to label most winter tyres, even studded ones, which road traffic rules prohibit for summer use. All-season tyres that can be used year-round don’t always have this marking. And it’s well known that summer tyres with this inscription are unsafe during cold weather.

What do the EU markings on a tyre indicate (fuel consumption, wet grip, noise level)?

To encourage the use of fuel-efficient, safe, and low-noise tyres, the European Commission mandates that manufacturers and retailers display the key characteristics of tyres. Although this information is beneficial for the buyer, it’s important not to rely solely on these markings when choosing tyres.

Why do the EU markings differ for the same tyre model?

Popular models are often manufactured over a long period. If requirements change during this period, or if the manufacturer changes the characteristics of the tyre, the markings may be different.

Do you offer tyre fitting or storage services?

No, unfortunately, we do not provide these services.

What should you do if you're unsure about tyre quality or notice a manufacturing defect?

Factory defects in tyres or rims are most commonly detected during installation. If uncertainty arises regarding a product's quality after beginning its use, first assess if it can be used safely. If you're uncertain, seek advice from specialists. Your safety is paramount. Afterwards, contact our team. Read more in the Warranty section.
